Shantou, China, 30 July 2024: Nanlux today introduces the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° for the Evoke series LED spotlights. It offers exceptional control of zoom, focusing, cutting, and gobo projection thanks to precision optics. The powerful beam of light it produces is well-controlled and minimizes extraneous light leaks. Combined with an Evoke light fixture, it easily adds layers, depth, and accents to backgrounds and images. The range of lighting effects is even further enhanced when it is used with reflectors. *Compatible with Evoke series NL mount light fixtures, including Evoke 900C/1200/1200B/2400B.

The NL Mount projection attachment 15-30° features an advanced precision optical lens designed exclusively for the Evoke series light fixtures. It mounts securely to the fixture via the NL mount and delivers up to 7.5 times* the illuminance compared to the light only, thanks to the lens’ high-efficiency optical design and excellent light transmission.

15-30° of Zoom Range: The lens barrel of the NL Mount projection attachment 15-30° extends or retracts allowing for continuous beam angle adjustments zooming from 15° to 30°. Compared to traditional fixed focal length projection lenses the zoom system enables flexible control of the illumination spread without moving the light, making it an ideal solution for a wide variety of lighting environments.

Zoom Ring: The focus and defocus of the light beam can be adjusted by rotating the zoom ring. Compared to other lenses which focus by pushing the lens barrel the zoom ring design of the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° offers greater precision and a smoother adjustment.

90-degree Rotatable Lens Barrel: The lens barrel can be rotated to adjust the angle of the beam, greatly enhancing flexibility without the need to move the shutter or gobo. 

Fast Setup and Stable Balance: The integrated yoke, together with the adjustable handles on both sides for secure locking, allows users to set up the projection attachment quickly and steadily. Its design ensures proper weight distribution and balance when mounted with the fixture, avoiding any shift in the projection angle due to gravity.

Third-party Lens Compatibility: The holder of the projection attachment is compatible with third-party barrels and lenses, enriching the available selection of optics and potentially bringing new life to existing lenses already owned.

Nanlux has designed a precise optical system for the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30°, offering exceptional performance in controlling light loss, chromatic aberration, and distortion, while achieving excellent beam uniformity to meet the high demands for light quality in productions:

Designed to be both rugged and portable, the body of the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° is constructed of aluminum alloy and highly durable nylon. This makes it both lightweight and strong, while keeping the weight under 12 kg.

The 15° offset design of the yoke allows for a larger downward angle on a light stand while maintaining stability. It also comes with protective covers for both ends to prevent dust and scratches from affecting performance, as well as an eyebolt on the barrel and yoke for attaching a safety cable. A fastening knob limits movement and prevents swaying during downward projection.

Each shutter can be freely adjusted independently for precise control. The 18-blade iris diaphragm creates a beautifully rounded beam shape. Users can slide the built-in rod to adjust the beam size and tighten it to lock. 

Four gobos are included, which can be installed in the gobo holder to project various patterns. Designed in a standard A size, this projection attachment is compatible with a wide variety of pre-made gobos available on the market.

The projection attachment is designed with a gel frame for inserting gels, allowing daylight or bicolor lights to output colors.

The NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° is made of heat-resistant materials, providing higher thermal stability. The use of aluminum alloy further enhances the heat resistance of the entire unit. Nanlux has cleverly designed the projection attachment to stay cool passively. The aluminum alloy body ensures optimal heat conduction, while the external heat sink fins at the holder improve cooling efficiency. The passive cooling solution also offers better performance for audio recording on set.

This design allows it to withstand the high temperatures generated during extended use with high-power fixtures like the Evoke 2400B, while also ensuring stable optical performance.

The standard flight case is designed for frequent transportation. It features an aluminum alloy structure with impact-resistant corner bumpers for durability and internal linings to ensure the safe transport of the whole kit.
