Why CINEXYZ?
As a cinematographer, Ron Sim had thought his place was behind a lens, but as he worked on countless projects he saw deficiencies in equipment, gaps waiting to be bridged, and felt the pull to be an architect of change. Working from home in his spare time he came up with numerous product ideas and Simmod Lens was born.

Having accomplished this, Ron is the first to recognise that he doesn’t have the monopoly on innovation. As with filmmaking, he believes that equipment manufacturing can also be a collaborative creative process – which is why he now wants to help others achieve their goals through CineXYZ.
