FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Shantou, China, 7 February 2024: At BSC Expo in London this month NANLUX will showcase their class-leading Evoke and Dyno series of LED lights. In particular, NANLUX will showcase their most recent light, the Evoke 2400B LED spotlight. This has proved extremely popular with gaffers and cinematographers, serving as a true substitute for a 10K watt tungsten or 4K watt HMI fixture.
New Motorized Fresnel Lens FL-35E
To further increase the utility of the Evoke 2400B, Nanlux has developed a new Motorized Fresnel Lens which will also be unveiled at the show. The FL-35E is a cutting-edge NL-mount optic with superior optical performance and a beam angle of 15° to 46°.
The Fresnel lens has a precise motorized adjustment which is powered via the electronic contacts in NANLUX’s NL mount on the Evoke 2400B. There are multiple control methods with users able to control the lens remotely via the NANLINK APP, wired controller or DMX console. There is also the option to control the motor on the fixture itself using a physical button.
The Motorized Fresnel Lens FL-35E will connect directly to the Evoke 2400B’s NL mount without additional support. The Fresnel lens weighs 10kg (22.05lb) and has dimensions of 430.38 × 490.15 × 330.3mm (16.94 × 19.30 × 13.00")
The groundbreaking combination of Evoke 2400B and FL-35E is set to redefine lighting control standards in film and television production. Further details for pricing and availability of the Motorized Fresnel Lens FL-35E for Evoke 2400B will be revealed soon.
New reflector options
In addition to the Fresnel lens NANLUX will also be showing two new reflector options for the Evoke 2400B. The optional new 30° to 60° reflectors will join the existing 45° reflector that ships with the light. Together the trio of reflectors will offer straightforward options for control of beam angle, intensity and throw.

About the Evoke 2400B
The Evoke 2400B is a 2400W fixture able to run off a household mains socket and its high efficiency maximizes output for every watt drawn from the wall, meaning more light on location without a generator - a key area where the Evoke 2400B has an advantage against its competitors.
Beyond its extreme brightness, it offers an adjustable green-magenta shift across its 2700-6500K CCT range, ensuring seamless compatibility with fixtures from other manufacturers.
Constructed with durable IP55 weather-resistant housings for both the light head and power supply, together with utilization of magnesium alloy, the Evoke 2400B achieves this extraordinary output while maintaining a significantly lighter form factor compared to other models with equivalent power output.
The inclusion of electronic contacts enables a modifier recognition function, allowing the Evoke 2400B to identify the specific modifier in use. This functionality ensures safety by protecting both the fixture and accessories from potential damage caused by elevated heat levels.
