SeeMo HDMI latency rivals professional monitors
Using the advanced performance of the SeeMo and the incredible processing power of the latest iPhone and iPad models the combination’s latency now rivals high-end professional HDMI field monitors. This allows SeeMo to offer a genuine solution for critical monitoring applications and especially pulling focus where a lower delay time for monitoring is beneficial.
The HDMI latency of a SeeMo with iPad Mini 6 (L) compared to a professional HDMI monitor (R), connected via HDMI splitter to a Sony A7 IV filming the white iPad behind.
Achieving critical focus becomes simple once you put this super low latency together with the quality of Apple’s super bright device screens. Add the advanced peaking, sharpening and monochrome options in the Accsoon SEE app and you have a complete suite of tools for the job.
To demonstrate this super low latency Accsoon have published a new video comparing the performance of SeeMo with the latest iPad mini to a professional HDMI monitor from a well known brand. The results show a near identical latency when fed the same signal from the same Sony A7 IV camera.
Additional new SeeMo features
Upgrading to the new SeeMo firmware version 1.4 and Accsoon SEE app version 1.0.3 enables USB-C equipped iPads to now be charged at 1.5A from the SeeMo while in operation. The amount that an image is zoomed in while checking focus using the SeeMo app is now displayed as a percentage on-screen. The Histogram function has also been improved and overall stability of app and firmware has been enhanced.
