Accsoon ACC02 and ACC03 - Innovative mounting solutions for CineView wireless systems

Accsoon today launches two innovative accessories for the CineView and CineEye range of wireless video transmitters. The Accsoon ACC02 Gimbal Mounting Adapter and the ACC03 Monitor Mounting Adapter allow mounting of the receiver (RX) or transmitter (TX) units in a wide range of new ways.

The ACC03 is designed to allow a CineView or CineEye RX or TX unit to mount to various monitors, cages and cameras in different ways. It is especially suitable where the user is building a director’s monitor setup with both monitor and RX unit powered from a separate battery. It is also ideal for use with several popular monitors with dual NP battery slots where the second battery can be used to power the monitor. In both cases power is supplied to the RX via DC barrel connector from an external battery.

The adapter comprises two metal plates with NP type mounts which when combined can be used to attach an Accsoon RX or TX directly to any other NP mount device. The precise orientation and position can be set easily thanks to a clever adjustable slot system. This means the RX or TX can always be in an upright position no matter if the battery slot on the monitor is upright or horizontal.

Alternatively a single plate can be used on its own to turn any NP battery slot into an extra set of 1/4” 20 holes, or a plate that mounts to 1/4” 20 holes.

Users can now mount a RX or TX into 1/4” 20 screw holes back-to-back on a camera or monitor cage and then simply clip the wireless unit on and off using the battery release button.

Another option is to turn an unused battery slot in a monitor, camera, RX or TX unit NP battery slot into a useful series of 1/4” 20 and 3/8” holes for mounting of other accessories.

Please note that the ACC03 is a purely mechanical adapter with no power pass thru capability. Users will need to power their CineView or CineEye units via the DC barrel connection when using the ACC03. 

The ACC02 allows the mounting of an Accsoon CineView or CineEye 2/2S wireless transmitter onto a DJI Ronin-S and Ronin-SC series of handheld gimbals. It simply attaches to the screw mount on the bottom of the Accsoon transmitter and then slots underneath the gimbal’s camera platform using its quick release system. This enables Accsoon owners to benefit from the greater range and enhanced stability of the CineView and CineEye 2/2S when using a gimbal.

The latest CineView models use Accsoon’s unique Dual-Band wireless technology to achieve a strong stable image over great distance. For instance, in the case of the latest CineView SE it has an incredible range of 1200ft.

Accsoon’s technology transmits the same image on both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz frequencies at the same time. The receiver then intelligently identifies interference as it combines the two signals together as needed into a complete single stream. This is inherently more stable than lower performing wireless systems that simply hop between frequencies. The result is a super robust, near-realtime transmission of HD video and audio that can reach the length of a football field and is not plagued with drop-outs and black screens. Screen lag is almost imperceptible with new best-in-class latency (under 50ms with CineView SE model).

The ACC03 Monitor Mounting Adapter costs $39 US and the ACC02 Gimbal Mounting Adapter costs $9.99 US. Both adapters will be available shortly from authorized Accsoon resellers.
